Many Quality of Life changes will be added following the Technical Alpha, and many of them are focused on accessibility. Mana and Health animations now better align with the filing of the globes, and item colors have been amplified to "bring out the more brilliant colors, bring more attention to the focus point(s), and add clarity to the image." The Paladin's Holy Freeze has also been adjusted to represent its "distinct wispiness and colors from the original," Monster Targets underwent a color revision based on feedback, and more. Lightning's VFX has been enhanced with "a whiter and thicker visualization that is more reminiscent of the original VFX," and Blizzard has been adjusted to "better capture the destructive force of the original." Some of the changes to Art & Visuals following feedback include the Sorceress' Lightning and Blizzard spells. The team began by explaining that they have taken "great care to advance the visuals of monsters, heroes, items, and spells while preserving the familiar aesthetic of the original." In this mission, Blizzard wants to appease long-time fans of the game as well as new fans who they hope will feel "the same wonder and awe felt by fans two decades ago."
